Kyra Minturn Sedgwick

Kyra Minturn Sedgwick was born on 19th of August 1965 and is an American actress who has won Golden Globe awards and Emmy Award for the series, The Closer.  She did her first debut film when she was 16 with television soap, another world. She became a household name with her role in Lemon Sky as Lanford Wilson.  She was seen in several movies too like Singles, Heart and Souls, Phenomenon and “Something to talk about”. She was also seen in “The game plan” and gave the voice of Batwoman in the animated movie of Batman: Mystery of Batwoman. Her work has fetched her several Emmy and Golden Globe awards throughout her career. Sedgwick was recently seen in Reach me in the role of Colette which fetched her a lot of popularity.
