William Jonathan Drayton, Jr. was born on 16th March, 1959. He is better remembered  as Flavor Flav. He is an American television personality and also a musician. Flavor Flav grew in popularity when he was a member of the “hip-hop group Public Enemy”. Flavor Flav is known for promoting  the hype man and also for shouting out             "Yeah boy!" and also "Flavor Flav!" The actor grew up in the city of Freeport, New York. He began playing the piano at age five for which he has had no formal training. When he was a child, het set fire to a house while he was playing with a lighter. He attended Adelphi University on Long Island. He graduated from culinary school in 1978.  Drayton has also cooked in several restaurants. The group released their first album, “Yo! Bum Rush the Show” in 1987.
