Emily Watson mini bio: Emily Anita Watson was born on the 14th January 1967 in Islington, London, England. She spent a number of years in the Royal Shakespeare Company. Her first appearance was in the film, Breaking the Waves (1996). Later, she acted in the movies including The Mill on the Floss, The Boxer, and Metroland. She starred as a manic cellist in the film, Hilary and Jackie (1998). She won the Golden Globe for her role as Anne Howe in the film, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. She also received an Academy Award nominations for her role as Bess McNeil. She starred alongside with Johnny Depp. in the animated film, Corpse Bride by Tim Burton. Her first role in feature film is in Breaking the Waves. After 3 years, she was nominated as the Best Actress Oscar for Nreaking the Waves.
