William Oliver Stone also known as Oliver Stone was born on September 15, 1946. Oliver Stone is an American film director, producer, screenwriter and veteran. He became popular between the mid-1980s and the early 1990s as he had written and also directed a series of films about the Vietnam War. He was born in New York City. His mother was Jacqueline  and his father was Louis Stone, a stockbroker. Oliver Stone grew up in Manhattan and Stamford, Connecticut. The actor attended Trinity School in New York City and did his graduation. He also attended a college-preparatory school in Pottstown at The Hill School, Pennsylvania. He is known to have produced a miniseries for ABC Television which was known as “Wild Palms”. As a Director his film “Savages” won an award in 2012.
