Michael I met you in 1990 and although you had to be watched with regard to your illness, I thought the world of you.   You couldn't stop the alcohol, and I am very sorry.   You died too young and you could have become one of England's best actors.   I just wish you could have had the will power to have said no, like Jimmy Greaves did.
