Joanna Lumley mini bio:
Joanna Lamond Lumley was born on 1st May 1946 in Srinagar, Kashmar. Lumley starred as Patsy Stone, the best friend of Edina Monsoon in the TV series, Absolutely Fabulous. She appeared in a number of movies such as The New Avengers, Sapphire & Steel, Jam & Jerusalem and Sensitive Skin, On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), Trail of the Pink Panther (1982) and James and the Giant Peach (1996), Maybe Baby (2000), Ella Enchanted (2004) and Corpse Bride (2005), The Wolf of Wall Street (2013). She spoke out for Survival International and Gurkha Justice Campaign. She appeared in 2 episodes in Agatha Christie's Magpie. She played as Vivienne Roden in the BBC drama, Mistresses. She also appeared in the drama, The Wolf of Wall Street. She starred along with David Hyde Pierce and Mark Rylance in La Bête – Comedy Theatre. She cooperated with designer Thomas Heatherwick to build a pedestrian bridge called Garden Bridge across Thames.
