Phil Collins mini bio:

Phil Collins is a multi-instrumentalist as well as an author and record producer. He is best known to play the drums for the rock group Genesis where he also handled the vocals. He was successful both as a solo artist and a member of the band. Collins devised a system of his own rather than following the conventional musical notations. Collins career started as a child actor although later in his life he still chose music over acting. Collins started his music career with Genesis in the year 1970 as their drummer. Later on in the year 1975 he took the position of vocalist Peter Gabriel. Collins solo career started in the year 1981 and is still going strong with his album Hits still hitting number 6 position on Billboard 200. Collins married three times in his life with each one ending in a divorce and him paying huge amounts as settlements.
