Robert Nesta Marley who is popularly known as bob Marley was born on February 6, 1945 in nine miles, saint Ann, Jamaica and he died on May 11, 1981. He was a Jamaican singer and songwriter. He was the son of cedella booker and norval Sinclair Marley. Hewas diagnosed with a malignant melanomaon his toe that was as a result of cancer. He had three children with wifeRita. His official website shows that he has eleven children. Cedilla, David and Stephen were his children with Rita while Sharon was from Rita’s previous marriage. Robert was his son with pat Williams, rohan his son with Janethunt, he has daughter Karen with Janet Bowen, Stephanie who was Rita’s daughter. Other children were Julian, ky-mani and Damian. He received several awards like the band of the year, he was awarded Jamaica’s highest honor. He also got a Grammy lifetime achievement award.
